Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, we are open to everyone who lives outside Japan and wants to take an eye surgery here. We accept health insurance of Japan (HIJ). Non holder of HIJ will be billed 100% of the official price.
Cataract surgery would cost around 200,000 yen ($1,500) which include all expenses such as consultation fee, examination fee, surgery fee, and a monofocal intraocular lens (IOL). If you are a candidate of a multifocal IOL, you may choice the multifocal IOL with an extra cost of around 350,000 yen. The total cost for cataract surgery with multifocal IOL is around 550,000 yen. If you need both eyes be treated, the cost will be doubled.
